Hi! I’m Em!

Thanks for being here! I’m a multi-passioned movement educator, nutrition nerd, yoga teacher, dog mom, and more!

I’ve been teaching movement in some form since 2015 when I started teaching group kettlebell classes while working towards my B.S. in Exercise Science. I became a Massage Therapist in a physical therapy office where my work focused on athletes and those with chronic pain and learned TONS about how the body’s threat detection and safety systems worked, eventually leaning into further training in Yoga, somatics, and mobility to help keep my clients moving on their own. I later continued my education in Dietetics and Nutrition, completing all required competencies as a Registered Dietitian in 2022. My studies and work have focused mainly in Sports Nutrition and in the field of Eating Disorders. I’ve worked at the PHP level of care and as an outpatient provider, as well as a contract sports dietitian for USA Hockey.

I work with groups and individuals looking to feel more at home in their bodies, build strength and resilience, and a safe engagement with movement for those in eating disorders recovery.

I also work with teams and individuals to help them fuel for sport with confidence.

In my practice, I aim to be neurodiverse-affirming and trauma-informed as well as HAES-aligned, meaning I don’t believe you should be required to lose weight to access health care and acknowledges that the world we live it is not welcoming to all bodies.

  • Taking this approach with you has been such a game changer. I'm so much more aware of how interconnected my emotions and food are, and because of that I can actually begin to change.

  • It's crazy to me how many supplements and things I threw at trying to fix my GI issues, and really I needed to consistently eat and find ways to prioritize my self-care. Thank you for helping me on this journey!

    -S

  • I can't thank you enough for your help with my nutrition during [event]. I was able to truly focus on what mattered- my team and the game. I didn't even have to think about whether I was doing my nutrition "right"
